The official Xbox Twitter account is teasing something related to Fable. Fans are now speculating that there might be an imminent announcement of Fable 4 for Xbox Series X.
In recent days, there have been numerous talks related to a new Fable or Fable 4, and it has become a practically certain project in the minds of many fans of the series. Recently, the boss of the Xbox division, Phil Spencer, confirmed that we will be getting news related to video games soon.
Today, a simple tweet by the official Twitter account of Xbox seems to have confirmed the announcement of a new Fable, and according to some, it could be very well Fable 4. As you can notice in the tweet, it simply shows a little man wearing a chicken hat, accompanied by the phrase “When your custom character shows up in a cutscene.”

A user promptly asked whether it was a reference made to Fable. To this, the Xbox Twitter profile did nothing but further ignited the interest of the fans by stating that “If you weren’t wearing the Chicken Hat, were you ever really a hero?” If you may recall, the chicken hat is considered as the top prize available in Fable: The Lost Chapters and Fable Anniversary.

According to the cryptic message, the first man with the chicken hat and the four little men standing side by side seem to suggest that the Xbox team is possibly teasing Fable 4 or perhaps something related to the title. The project is supposed to be in development by Playground Games who might be working on an action-adventure title with RPG elements.
