AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT, Radeon RX 6800 XT/XL Series, & Radeon RX 6700 Specs Leaked

With the Radeon RX 6000 series, AMD will offer its first DirectX 12 Ultimate graphics cards. They will be wired for real-time ray tracing in video games, along with the flagship model of AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT video card.

For several weeks, there are ample of rumors circulating around their specifications. As we have pointed out in our previous article, a lot of information has been published, sometimes with different or contradictory data.

According to a new report, the specifications of the next Navi 21 and Navi 22 GPUs would be largely known. As we are going to see, we find the information already known but with changes around the operating frequencies and more.

Radeon RX 6900 XT, the flagship model

AMD’s flagship graphics card solution will normally be the Radeon RX 6900 XT. AMD would also have planned the Radeon RX 6800 XT and the Radeon RX 6800. In all cases, the GPU is based on Navi 21. Then the Radeon RX 6700 XT and RX 6700 should position themselves in a wiser segment with a GPU based on Navi 22 at the heart of their mechanics.

Navi 22 is announced with 80 calculation units (CUs), ie the presence of 5,120 stream processors. The Radeon RX 6900 XT should take advantage of its full potential (Navi 21 XTX). Its technical specifications would include 16 GB of GDDR6 operated by a 256-bit bus. The GPU is announced with a gaming frequency of 2040 MHz against 2330 MHz in boost mode.

Radeon RX 6800 XT/XL Series

The Radeon RX 6800 XT would be based on a Navi 21 XT GPU giving life to 4,608 stream processors or 72 calculation units (CUs). The whole would be calibrated at 2015 MHz in gaming mode and 2250 MHz in boost mode.

Then the Radeon RX 6800 would offer a Navi 21 XL GPU where 64 computing units (CUs) would be in action, i.e. 4096 stream processors. The whole would be based at 1815 MHz in gaming mode and 2105 MHz in boost mode.

Radeon RX 6700 XT and RX 6700 Series

For the Radeon RX 6700 XT and RX 6700 GPUs, everything is not known. The first would offer a Navi 22 GPU where 40 computing units or 2560 stream processors are part of the game. We have no information on frequencies. On the other hand, the memory would be based on 12 GB of GGDR6 operated by a 192-bit bus.
