AMD RX 6900 XT/6800 XT Reference Cards Will Be Available in the First Quarter of 2021, Senior Director Confirms

AMD RX 6900 XT & 6800 XT GPU

Many gamers around the world are eager to buy a Radeon graphics card, but stock problems are causing a headache to get one. For the first quarter of this year, AMD intends to supply more RX 6900 XT and RX 6800 XT graphics cards to stores.

In that sense, the Senior Director of AMD Radeon Technologies Group, Riche Corpus, stated the following in an interview with BabelTechReviews: “Based on the response to our AMD Radeon RX 6800 Series and Radeon RX 6900 XT reference design graphics cards, we are extending production to make them available to as many gamers as possible on AMD.com at SEP.”

“Additional reference cards are expected to be available in the first quarter of 2021. We will also continue supporting our partners in the development of their custom AMD Radeon RX 6000 Series graphics card designs,” Corpus further commented.

AMD would maintain the recommended price for these graphics cards, which could arrive at the end of February. Being available at their recommended price, they will surely sell quickly as soon as the units are enabled from their own website. Another detail that we will have to see is how many units will go on sale.

AMD does not specify how many new units will be available for the RX 6800 XT and RX 6900 XT models, so getting one of these units in this batch is going to be a problem if there is not enough stock.

For all those interested players, they will have to be very attentive to the date of this new shipment and very quick to hit the buy button. We will keep you informed about any updates, so stay tuned to our website for more information.
