The processor weighs 105 watts and should be fully compatible with all current laptops.

The AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D features 96MB of L3 cache and an optional 512MB of L3 cache. The chips will be available on April 20th for $449 USD. The company has also announced that it will launch the Ryzen 7 5700X, which has eight cores and will sell for $299. Both models will use the same architecture and dies and will be replaced by the Zen 2 SKUs in 2022.
