AORUS Z690 Master Motherboard with DDR5 and PCIe Gen5 Leaked

AORUS Z690

According to a source from the Eurasian Economic Commission, Gigabyte will release up to 16 AORUS motherboards. The AORUS Master series is at the top of the range, only surpassed by the AORUS Xtreme series. In other words, the leaked AORUS Z690 Master motherboard image reveals what the firm has planned for the ultra-premium category, which will be inhabited by the Intel 12th Gen Core i9 series.

An Australian shop has offered the Gigabyte Z690 AORUS MASTER and Gigabyte Z690 AORUS ELITE AX motherboards for sale. Intel’s forthcoming Alder Lake 12th Generation Core series CPUs are anticipated to ship in November, and the LGA1700 motherboards will support them.

The motherboards were offered at 768.90 AUD and 438.90 AUD, respectively, equating to 572 USD and 327 USD. These prices are around 10% more than their Z590 equivalents and should serve as a decent indicator of the overall cost for all forthcoming Z690 motherboards.

The Gigabyte Z690 AORUS MASTER is listed as having DDR4 memory compatibility, which might be a mistake because manufacturers have indicated that some high-end boards would have DDR5 capability.

The motherboards are expected to be among the first to offer PCIe 5.0, allowing for speedier storage with compatible drives. When Intel’s 12th Gen Core CPUs and Z690 chipset are officially released in the next months, these motherboards should be available for purchase.
