ASUS has just announced the ROG Thor 1600W Titanium power supply PSU, a brand-new model that’s compatible with next-generation GPUs. The ROG Thor power supply has been designed for high-end gaming PCs and features a new PCIe 5.0 external power supply interface. With a capacity of 1600W, the ROG Thor has reached the apex of its power supply line. The power supply also meets Titanium certification and features the iconic ROG style.

The ROG Thor series of power supplies is designed to be reliable today while offering massive power for your Computer’s future. The power connectors are equipped with the new PCI Express (r) 5.0 standard, which packs 12 conductors into a single cable. This makes the ROG Thor a future-proof power supply. It also features a reversible design for easy installation.

The ROG Thor PSUs also feature modular connectors and support PCI Express 5.0 devices. This means that users can build a system with just the cables they need. Asus has said that the new models are more quiet than their predecessors.
