Latest Hogwarts Legacy Patch Introduces Intel XeSS 2, Gameplay Fixes and More

Hogwarts Legacy

A new patch for Hogwarts Legacy is now available for PC players on Steam that, according to its patch notes, introduces better mod support, brings major gameplay fixes, and Intel XeSS 2 integration for better performance.

The February 27th patch is largely dedicated to smoothing out mod compatibility, resolving input prompt, text, and interface problems, in addition to gameplay bugs including fast travel faults, Third Time’s a Charm failing to unlock, silent restart crashes with mods, and basic attacks leaving empty impacts on surfaces.

The major new addition in this patch is Intel XeSS 2 support, which brings with it advanced frame generation capabilities for Intel Alchemist and Battlemage GPUs only. The patch notes also mention extended NVIDIA Frame Generation features, but information on these developments is not yet clear as the game has already had Multi Frame Generation capability on RTX 5000 series GPUs.

Hogwarts Legacy is available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Keep an eye out for further updates as the game continues to grow its technical potential.
