JDM: Japanese Drift Master Hits Xbox Series on November 21, PS5 in Early 2026

JDM

Gaming Factory has shared big updates for their driving game, JDM: Japanese Drift Master. It will come to Xbox Series consoles on November 21. PlayStation 5 players will get it a bit later, sometime in the first three months of 2026.

The game first launched on PC back in May, where players explore open roads in a made-up part of Japan. You play as someone new to the country, trying to become a top drifter by racing on twisty mountain paths and busy city streets.

There are over 250 kilometres of roads to drive, plus a story with more than 40 events where you compete against other skilled drivers. You can also practice in side challenges such as quick drags or head-to-head drifts.

What makes it special is the focus on real-feeling car controls that work well with a game controller or even a steering wheel setup. The world changes with day and night, rain or clear skies, and busy traffic.

Pick from real Japanese cars, tweak them in shops, and paint them in cool styles to make them your own. It’s a mix of careful driving and fun arcade speed, perfect for both new and experienced players.

The news dropped during the IGN Fall Fan Fest with a new video trailer showing off the console versions. You can add the Xbox edition to your list now on the Microsoft Store to get alerts. If you enjoy games about speed and custom rides, this one brings the thrill of Japan’s drifting world to your TV. More free updates with new features and cars are planned after launch, so the fun keeps going.
