Square Enix has revealed, in the frame of a livestream dedicated to the series, that Nier Automata will soon be available on the Xbox Game Pass.
We do not yet have the specifics of the arrival of the game on the subscription service of Microsoft, but it has been confirmed that the action RPG will arrive in the service soon.
During today, an updated version of Nier Replicant has been announced for all home consoles, while it has been updated since the cumulative sales of Automata. At the moment we are not aware if Nier Automata will be accepted by both versions – Xbox One and PC – of the Xbox Game Pass.
The library will receive, however, the Become as Gods Edition, which includes the downloadable content 3C3C1D119440927, with the complete “Revealing Outfit” costume for 2B, “Young Man’s Outfit” costume for 9S and “Destroyer Outfit” costume for A2.
These three additions can be unlocked at the end of three exclusive side missions, which involve tackling three different combat challenges in three arenas. At some point in the story, players will also be able to unlock this content: Machine Mask, Grimoire Weiss, Cardboard Pod, Vintage Gray Pod and Vintage Red Pod.
Nier Automata was available at launch only on PC and PS4, then arriving on Xbox One a year later in this new edition. A new mobile game, Reincarnation, was unveiled today and is under construction under the direction of the creator of the Yoko Taro franchise.
