Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Specs Leaked

As we all know, currently on the market we only have the NVIDIA RTX 3090, RTX 3080, and RTX 3070. The company has not discussed any other graphics card, although there are rumors about a new one, specifically the NVIDIA Geforce RTX 3050 graphics card. It would be a much simpler graphics card than the rumored RTX 3050 Ti, thus becoming the most basic model.

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 can be an interesting option for less demanding players. The first leaks about its technical specifications have just hit the network, which is worth taking a closer look at. In addition, it seems that NVIDIA wants to flood the market with solutions that support Ray Tracing in all ranges of video cards.

According to reports from the well-known leaker kopite7kimi, the GeForce RTX 3050 would be based on the GA107-300 GPU, equipped with 2304 CUDA cores. We also know that the model would have a TGP of 90W, which requires an additional 6-pin power connector.

It is not yet clear how much memory the new graphics card of RTX 3050 will be equipped with, but we should count on at least 4 GB. Using a smaller amount would be rather unacceptable nowadays.

It is also worth noting that the leaker says it belongs to the GeForce RTX series, therefore, the new 3D accelerator will support hardware-accelerated ray tracing. As for the launch of the GeForce RTX 3050, it could be expected in the first half of 2021. According to reports, the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti will be announced on December 2, GeForce RTX 3060 and RTX 3050 Ti will come out later.

It is almost certain, however, that the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, which is quite an interesting mid-range card, will hit the stores first.
