NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 16 GB Confirmed In a Listing by Lenovo for its Gaming Desktop PC

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 16 GB Confirmed

As it is already known, Nvidia yesterday revealed the impressive GeForce RTX 3090, RTX 3080, and RTX 3070 graphics cards. According to their parameters, it can be assumed that sometime later the RTX 3080 Ti or RTX 3080 Super (or both) will be released. However, a new entry in the GPU segment RTX 3070 Ti with 16 GB of memory appeared in a listing by Lenovo today.

In addition, unexpectedly today, data on the RTX 3070 Ti model appeared on the web, and not in the form of some rumors. It is this graphics card that is listed in the specifications of the new Lenovo Legion T7 Gaming Desktop PC.

It says that this model has 16 GB of GDDR6 memory, that is, twice as much memory than the RTX 3070. And this is quite logical from Nvidia’s side for improved adapters.

However, there is one nuance here. For this PC, RTX 3070 and RTX 3080 are also indicated, and the second allegedly also has GDDR6 memory. Of course, this can be attributed to a mistake, but it’s worth keeping that in mind.

There is also another option that could explain everything: the listed models are OEM options, and the RTX 3070 Ti here is just a regular RTX 3070, but with increased memory. In any case, we’ll find out soon enough if some official information comes, stay tuned for it.

Recall that the RTX 3070 will arrive later than the rest of the announced graphics cards, launching for some time not yet defined in October. With its arrival, this model will turn the RTX 2080 Ti, until now the most powerful gamer card on the market, into something obsolete for delivering the same level of performance for a much more competitive price.
