Resident Evil Ambassador Program New PlayTest Begins February 29th

Resident Evil 8

A few weeks have passed and fans of the Resident Evil series have been able to take a look at some rumors about the next chapter and which included, among other things, the presence of werewolves. The same rumors were shortly denied as those leaks would come from a discarded build of the game.

Obviously fans are counting down on the release of Resident Evil 3 Remake, but the news doesn’t seem to end there. Announced through the Ambassador program, a Playtest will be held in four different cities in February: Tokyo, New York, Los Angeles, and Frankfurt. The first city to start is Tokyo, with the date scheduled for February 29, while the other cities will start in March. To register you must be over 18 years old and be part of the ambassadors club. Who knows what Capcom has in mind during these playtests, on the other hand, these events are designed to make developers understand what to work on.

In the past, these exclusive events came just before a new project was presented. There was a precedent for both Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil Resistance (before they were known to be part of the same package). It seems rather unlikely that a new title will be shown with the remake scheduled for April, but the franchise is doing well, so anything is possible. Stay tuned with us for more information about it.

We remind you that Resident Evil 3 Remake will release on April 3, 2020 on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
