The Last of Us 2: Neil Druckmann Reportedly Blocking Fans Who are asking about The Leaks

The Last of Us 2

During the weekend a series of spoilers for The Last of Us 2 was leaked online and it looks like that the director of the game, Neil Druckmann, is not taking too well about what just happened.

Without spoiling anything in this article, we would like to tell you that there were multiple videos uploaded on blogs and forums, leaking the major story details of The Last of Us 2. The clips and comments from the people in the various forums tell us about the relationship between Ellie and Dina in the game, the role of Joel, and the events that occur in the story of The Last of Us 2 and so on.

The consequence of this has been that Sony is now hunting down all of these leaks and removing them ever since, because The Last of Us is an important brand for the PS4 console. In addition, Neil Druckmann has started to block everyone who is asking him about the leaks.

As you can see above, the Twitter user has stated that Druckmann is blocking even the legit fans of the title who are discussing about the leaked video and gameplay of the title. In any case, at the moment we only have one side of the story, so we cannot rule out that those who are being blocked by the director of The Last of Us 2 have been showing a disrespectful attitude in moments that are considered as a big loss for the whole team behind the game.

Finally, Naughty Dog has not commented on this. We currently only know that the game was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic but today a new release date was announced for The Last of Us 2, which is officially launching on June 19, 2020, for PS4.
