Naughty Dog and Nixxes Software have released Patch 1.6 (version 1.6.10721.0105) for The Last of Us Part II Remastered on PC, addressing several bugs and improving gameplay stability. The latest patch is now available via Steam and the Epic Games Store. This update focuses on fixing controller issues, visual glitches, and progression blockers for a smoother experience.

Patch 1.6 Highlights

  • Fixed Safe Code Input: Resolved an issue where entering codes for safes or bank vaults could skip numbers when using mouse and keyboard controls, making it easier to open them.
  • Car Chase Fix: Corrected a rare bug where some players couldn’t shoot during the Ellie and Jesse car chase scene due to an invisible pistol, which blocked story progression.
  • Display Settings: Fixed a bug that prevented Exclusive Fullscreen and V-SYNC settings from saving when changed in the in-game Display Settings menu.
  • Epic Games Crash: Addressed a crash in the Epic Games version when viewing the No Return Daily Run leaderboard or after completing a Daily Run.
  • Motion Sensor Aiming: Fixed an issue with Motion Sensor Function Aiming on Steam Deck and supported Steam Input controllers with gyro features, improving aiming accuracy.
  • Bow Controls: Resolved a controller issue where the bow wouldn’t draw properly based on trigger input and could misfire when slowly releasing the trigger.
