AMD Radeon RX 6900 With Triple-Fan & Radeon RX 6800/6700 With Dual-Fan Cooling Pictured

During the course of yesterday, AMD has already shown the design of the new Radeon RX 6000 series, we now have a photo of a real AMD Radeon RX 6900 graphics card, while from AMD it could only be a render. What’s more, the design of the lower versions of the same series of video cards is also visible below.

The AMD Radeon RX 6900 based on the RDNA 2 architecture was shown this time in a photograph (check the image at the top of this news). These are photos from the YouTuber JayzTwoCents, who obtained them from his sources, so he does not have the video cards himself.

The design is even similar to the cooling system of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 20 Series Founders Edition, but with a triple fan configuration, while we can see that it will be powered by 2 x 8+8-pin PCI-Express connectors to the same as the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Custom.

At the same time, AMD has already shown the design of the new powerful Radeon RX 6000 series on Twitter, so it can be assumed that it will be the 6900 model issue.

Here we have it from a different angle, as shown by two 8-pin connectors of additional power supply, and then we have a slightly blurred image, which already shows a different and obviously weaker card with two fans, but again the same PCIe connectors for power supply.

This suggests that it could be a Radeon RX 6800 or 6700 with the alleged Navi 22 chip, which should come as a replacement for the Navi 10 with a smaller size, but still with significantly higher performance thanks to the new architecture.

By the way, we also learned from a report that the new Radeon graphics cards will support video decoding in VCN 3.0 AV1, as judged by the latest Linux patches. The AV1 also supports the new GeForce RTX 3000, and Intel is preparing the same for Xe Series GPU cards.
