AMD has officially announced and revealed the pricing and availability for its Radeon RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT GPUs, which bring next-generation RDNA 4 architecture and state-of-the-art gaming performance to the masses. The RX 9070 will cost $549, with the more potent RX 9070 XT launching at $599, with both cards available for wide release beginning March 6, 2025.
Designed to drive high-end gaming and AI-driven visuals, the RX 9000 series includes third-generation ray tracing, second-generation AI accelerators, and AMD’s FidelityFX™ Super Resolution 4 (FSR 4) for enhanced frame generation and upscaling. The RX 9070 XT, optimized for native 4K Ultra settings, delivers up to 42% more performance than the earlier RX 7900 GRE, while the RX 9070 delivers smooth, high-refresh-rate gaming in 1440p AAA titles.
In addition to the March 6 launch, AMD is sweetening the pot with a free Monster Hunter Wilds Standard Edition copy on board with select AMD Ryzen processors, Radeon RX graphics cards, and compatible gaming laptops. Capcom’s eagerly awaited RPG launches on February 28, so this bundle is an attractive option for those gamers eager to upgrade their system.
Stay tuned as AMD’s Radeon RX 9070 family introduces state-of-the-art ray tracing, AI-driven enhancements, and next-generation performance to PC gaming at affordable prices.
