Wargroove 2

The independent industry has given us countless jewels. Fans of strategy titles like Advance Wars and Fire Emblem certainly enjoyed Wargroove, a game of Chucklefish Games that had a very good reception. The indie strategy title was a hit with gamers and therefore the studio is now showing interest in making Wargroove 2 become a reality.

In fact, the title is recognized by many as one of the best indies from last year. The game was praised for its mechanics, its graphics and for offering a good amount of content, including free DLC.

For this reason, there are players who are already dreaming of Wargroove 2. It’s been a short time since its launch, so many believe it’s unlikely. However, Chucklefish seems to think otherwise.

The studio excited its followers on social networks, as it touched on the subject of a possible sequel to the title of strategy. In fact, the studio revealed that it is considering the development of Wargroove 2.

For this reason, it asked the players for their opinion and asked if they would play a sequel to the game. “We’re considering whether people would like WargrooveGame 2 … What do you think? Would you play a sequel to Wargroove?” wrote the studio on its Twitter account.

Of course, the reaction of the community was not long in coming, and the company received a large number of positive responses, supporting the creation of a sequel. However, some players were concerned about the future of other games in the studio.

Chucklefish calmed its fans and stated that the possible development of Wargroove 2 would not impact the process of creating its other games.

It is important to clarify that the studio did not directly confirm that it is already working on the sequel. However, it seems that it is one of its projects for the future. The project is entirely viable if the success of the original title is taken into account.

Wargroove is available for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC.
