If you’ve been waiting for the latest Diablo title, you can start preparing to play it this weekend. The game is available for pre-order on all platforms and players can also access the Early Access Beta this weekend by pre-purchasing the Digital Deluxe or Ultimate editions of the game. The game is currently scheduled to launch on June 6, 2023, and this is your chance to test it before its release! During the Open Beta, you can play as one of four characters, each with their own unique set of abilities. The Barbarian, Rogue and Sorcerer can all be played, while the Druid and Necromancer are coming to the game later on.
The Open Beta is a great way to get a feel for the world of Diablo IV, and you can even find a few unique perks that you won’t find in the full game. For starters, if you reach Level 20 in the Open Beta, you’ll be rewarded with the ferocious and furry Wolf Pack cosmetic item that’s only available during this period of Early Access.
A variety of dungeons await you in the Open Beta, each with its own recommended Level and challenging encounters to test your skills. These dungeons are where you’ll go to rack up experience, earn powerful gear and slay demons.
Dungeons are a key part of the Diablo universe, and this Early Access weekend is full of them to explore. These tight, tense instances are perfect for testing your skills and earning gear.
There’s also a wide range of side quests for you to undertake. These quests will give you new ways to interact with the dungeons and the environment around them, and can be fun to do with friends in local co-op.

- Early Access to the Open Beta begins March 17 at 9 a.m. PDT and concludes March 20 at 12 p.m. PDT.

Early Download Diablo IV Open Beta
The early access download for the Diablo IV Open Beta will be available Wednesday, March 15 at 9 a.m. PDT. While the Open Beta early download will begin Wednesday, March 22 at 9 a.m. PDT.
How To Early Download Diablo IV Open Beta
PC
- Launch the Battle.net client. If Diablo IV is not already in your Favorites bar, you can add it by clicking on the + icon. Alternatively, you can find Diablo IV by accessing the All Games page. You’ll see Diablo IV at the top of the list.
- Once you get to the Diablo IV Game Page, click the dropdown menu under Game Version and select the Diablo IV – Beta option. Click the blue button that says Install. The game will install and once it’s available, click Play to Launch.
Xbox
- Launch the Xbox Store and search for Diablo IV–Open Beta. Select Download.
PlayStation
- Launch the PlayStation Store and search for Diablo IV Open Beta. Select Download.
Diablo IV Open Beta Early Access Redemption Code

- Go to diablo.com/beta and log in or create your Battle.net account.
- Enter your code and select your gaming platform and region (if applicable) from the drop-down menu.
- Check your selections before clicking the Redeem button.

- For PC players, your account will be flagged for access right away.
- For console players, a platform-specific code to download the Beta will be emailed to the address associated with your Battle.net account closer to the start of Early Access.
