Lenovo has launched the Watch GT Pro, a new smartwatch aimed at outdoor fans and fitness trackers. It comes with a low price of about $128 (899 yuan in China), a huge 470mAh battery that lasts up to 27 days, and solid tools like dual-frequency GPS for accurate tracking.
The Watch GT Pro features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with 466×466 resolution and Corning glass protection for scratches. The build quality of the watch is also good, which is made with a zinc-magnesium alloy frame and nylon-fibreglass back, plus 5 ATM water resistance – good for swimming or rain.

Key features include:

  • Dual-frequency GPS for precise location during runs or hikes.
  • Sensors for altitude, barometric pressure, and a digital compass.
  • Over 170 sports modes, including a special swimming algorithm that counts strokes, pace, and laps.
  • Health tracking: Continuous heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2), sleep stages, stress, and guided breathing.
  • Bluetooth calls with built-in mic and speaker.
  • Smart notifications and quick replies.

The battery is said to last up to 27 days in light mode, or about 7 days with heavy use like always-on display or GPS. It charges fully in around three hours.

The watch runs on a custom OS and can connect to iOS and Android phones, and supports payments like Alipay in China. The watch is on sale now in China through JD.com. No word yet on global launch, but Lenovo often brings popular models worldwide later.

If you want a long-lasting, feature-packed watch without spending much, this could be a great option. Check Lenovo’s site for updates if you’re outside China.
