2K Games has officially announced the development of the Mafia Trilogy. The game collection, which will include Mafia, Mafia 2 and Mafia 3, is expected to be released for PC (Epic Games Store, Steam), PlayStation 4, Google Stadia, and Xbox One.
It is still unclear whether the classics will be published in an improved or revised form in Mafia Trilogy, but it is very likely – especially since entries such as the Mafia II: Definitive Edition have appeared more frequently in the past few weeks at several age classification points.
We have known details about Mafia II: Definitive Edition for many weeks, but finally we have received specific information today. 2K Games invited players to a presentation that will take place next week and it is very likely that the premiere of the game will also take place on this day.
Such a situation heralds Xbox Live, because Mafia II: Definitive Edition was noticed in the Microsoft Store, and the release of the title is planned for May 19. The file size of the game will be 43.79GB and according to available information, developers will provide a cradle with all previously prepared additions.
Xbox Live announces a great story of Mafia 2: Definitive Edition in the following way:
Remastered in stunning HD detail, live the life of a gangster during the Golden-era of organized crime in America. War hero Vito Scaletta becomes entangled with the mob in hopes of paying his father’s debts. Alongside his buddy Joe, Vito works to prove himself, quickly climbing the family ladder with crimes of larger reward, status, and consequence. However, the life of a wise guy isn’t quite as untouchable as it seems.
Mafia II: Definitive Edition supports HDR10, will ensure 4K Ultra HD gameplay, according to the Microsoft Store listing, which seems deleted now.
