Resident Evil 3 Remake: Difficulty Modes, New Game+ & More Leaked (Spoilers)

Resident Evil 3 Remake

The release of Resident Evil 3 Remake is scheduled for a few weeks, but Capcom has released a demo ahead of time. Meanwhile, the so-called dataminers have not stood still and have started rummaging through the data to discover some secrets stored in the code. Leaving aside the data that contains important information, a ResetEra thread has revealed that the work will incorporate a New Game+ mode, among other additional information.

According to these data, the reimagined version of the Capcom classic has four different game modes: Assist, which has automatic regeneration, as well as the Normal, Hard and Super Hard modes. The latter makes enemies more powerful and reduces the number of resources, but also modifies the location of enemies and objects with respect to other modes.

The New Game+ mode, meanwhile, is unlocked after finishing the game for the first time. According to data obtained by dataminers, when starting a new adventure through this option, “many parts of the game” will change and an unpublished ending will be added. If everything goes according to this script, there will also be numerous unlockable content, including concept art, character modeling, and costumes. Jill has, as long as the leaks materialize, four different suits; Carlos, only two.

The information comes from dataminers and is in the game code, which does not mean that everything that appears is an official confirmation. It is not the first time that people have found this kind of interesting details, and then it is not fulfilled in the final version. It should not be forgotten that Respawn Entertainment introduced false data into Apex Legends to trick dataminers and thus avoid ruining surprises for players.

In other news, Capcom has confirmed that the title will omit “Live Selection” of two choices made in the original game. On the other hand, check some leaked screenshots of the game that shows disgusting New Bosses.

Resident Evil 3 Remake will release on April 3 on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Like the remake of the second installment, this production takes the original game as a starting point and builds a whole new playable and graphic framework around it. In addition, the mercenary mode is removed, although Resident Evil Resistance is added in the same package. It is an asymmetric multiplayer in which four survivors will face a Masterminds.
