Shadow Warrior 3

The latest release in the sonic chaos of Flying Wild Hog’s bonkers first-person shooter series, Shadow Warrior 3: Definitive Edition, launches on February 16. Publisher Devolver Digital and developer Flying Wild Hog have partnered to bring the game to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, alongside existing versions on PC.

Launching as a free upgrade for owners of the original, this version will add some new features and performance enhancements to the already-packed game. It will feature Survival & Hero Modes, a New Game Plus, Hardcore Difficulty, and a Chapter Select for those who want to revisit some of their favorite moments from the main storyline.

There’s also a re-tuned performance and visual mode, with either buttery smooth 60fps or boosted 4K visuals on the Xbox and PS5, as well as PS5 Haptic & controller speaker support. That’s all in addition to some tailored enhancements for players on these consoles, including a re-worked controls for DualSense support that should make your controller rumble like never before.

There’s also a new Hardcore Difficulty that will take you to the brink of defeat, and a Hero Mode that will shorten your life to a limited number of respawns, earned only through Finishers. With these new features, Devolver Digital is bringing Shadow Warrior 3 to more players than ever before.
