Currently, we’re referring to Stray as the cat game from Annapurna, and you should be too. It is packed with character, plot, and riddles that prevent you from moving further. It might be difficult if you don’t know where or how to get them since some of those puzzles need Stray safe codes to advance the game’s main plot.
Fortunately, we have the Stray safe code ready for you. If you don’t want to fuss with finding their location for yourself, we’ll tell you what it is. However, we’ll also let you know where to look for them if you want to immerse yourself in the narrative rather than just receiving the solutions.
You’ll find a safe in The Slums early on in Stray. A hint for the safe’s “mystery password” may be found on it, but none of the town’s robot residents can figure it out for you. We’ll show you how to unlock the Slums safe using the password in this Stray tutorial so you may take the treasured Sheet Music inside. Come along!
How to find the safe
If you’re still in the first few episodes of Stray, keep playing until chapter 4, The Slums, when you may interact with the town’s mechanical residents. Turn left after the Guardian has spoken with you and determined you are safe.
You’ll run into Moresque, the neighborhood guitarist, down a little incline. Just pass by for the time being; you’ll need to collect Sheet Music for them in another task. When you arrive at a gate, turn left to locate a narrow lane. When you enter, the safe will be waiting for you. You may interact with it to obtain a clue item you can display to the locals. You may keep reading to get the answer, or you can browse around to see if you can figure it out on your own.
How to find the password and open the safe
You’ll need to go to the neighborhood bar to find the code. Walk straight until you reach a bright red sign while keeping your back to the Guardian. This graces the bar’s door in the neighborhood. You’ll find a second “Dufer Bar” sign in neon red leaning against the wall when you enter. There is an image of a beach above the sign.
As you approach the sign and image, leap onto the counter. The cat will knock the image off the wall if you interact with it, revealing the code underneath: 1283. Take a snapshot of this or remember it if you want to access the safe in the alley. Return to the safe that is close to Morusque. It will swing open once you enter the four-digit code. The guitarist’s eighth and last Sheet Music sheet will become visible. Take hold of this treasure and deliver it to Morusque so he may continue his search.
What is in the Safe?
The ninth Sheet Music by Stray is kept inside the safe. Give this to Morusque, and he’ll play you a piece. He won’t stop playing if you opt to doze off next to him while he is doing it.
Conclusion
In conclusion, it is no mystery that cat lovers were most anxiously anticipating Stray. This is owing to the chance for gamers to act as a cat. This allows you to guide the fuzzy creature home from the decaying cyborg metropolis. Midtown is also packed with memories and secrets waiting to be discovered. After discovering the correct code concealed somewhere in the slum, players may open the safe to reveal the Sheet Music prize. At this point, the tips above will aid you immensely.
