The Elder Scrolls VI Info Will Come After Starfield, Pete Hines Confirms

The Elder Scrolls VI

The Elder Scrolls VI was first announced in 2018 and still now, we do not have any information about the game. However, Pete Hines, today, shed some light on the title which is still very far, far away.

During the E3 2018 event, Bethesda announced its next big title of The Elder Scrolls VI with a short teaser trailer, which lasted only half-a-minute or so. We were not presented by any cinematics or any gameplays’ but only with a nice landscape and a logo of the title on it. If E3 was presented this year, the publisher might have possibly shown GhostWire: Tokyo or Deathloop but we cannot expect anything because of the ongoing lockdown due to Covid-19.

Today, however, a Twitter user asked Pete Hines when we can expect some information on The Elder Scrolls VI, to which the Senior Vice President of Marketing at Bethesda said the game is coming after Starfield, for which we do not know anything about yet.

“It’s after Starfield, which you pretty much know nothing about. So if you’re coming at me for details now and not years from now, I’m failing to properly manage your expectations,” says Hines.

Thus, the executive is making it clear that even though he was harassed for information about the title repeatedly for years, he would not be able to say anything about it yet. If you may recall, it will be 10 years in 2021 when the latest part of the series, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, was released. Prior to this, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion was released in 2006, and compared to that, Morrowind came 4 years earlier.

So this could mean that if we get any information about Starfield in the next year at the earliest, The Elder Scrolls VI might not be released before 2022 or 2023.
