The Last of Us 2 Becomes Best-Selling Game on Amazon Despite Leaks

Many spoilers related to the main plot of The Last of Us 2 have been leaked and anticipated in the last week, which has angered the fans of the series. Despite this unpleasant situation, the new title of the Naughty Dog studio becomes the “best-seller” in various divisions of the Amazon online retailer regarding the PlayStation 4 titles. We are obviously talking about its pre-order, given that the game is expected to release on June 19th.

In second place we find another pre-order, namely that of the newly announced Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the new title of the Ubisoft franchise that will lead us to embark on a “Viking” journey to the British shores. The game will arrive at the end of 2020, but in the meantime, the PlayStation 4 version is placed in the pre-orders behind The Last of Us 2.

In particular, The Last of Us 2 ranks first or second in countries such as the UK, USA, France, Brazil, Australia, and Canada, ahead of Ghost of Tsushima, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Resident Evil 3 and competing with Final Fantasy VII Remake. Although recent leaks on the Internet are likely to hurt the overall sales of the game, they were clearly not enough to throw the title of Naughty Dog off the podium.

We would like to remind you that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla first gameplay trailer will be shown during the Xbox Series X game reveals scheduled for this week on May 7. On the other hand, it was reported that The Last of Us Part II leaks were made by hackers, according to the video game news reporter Jason Schreier.
