World of Warcraft PS4 & PS5 Release Hinted by Datamining

World of Warcraft

According to the latest reports, the epic MMORPG title of World of Warcraft, available only on PC may soon arrive on the Sony consoles of PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

Shadowlands is the next expansion of World of Warcraft. A content that for now maintains its launch in 2020. Although it is true that the WOW figures are far from those obtained years ago, the company’s MMO continues to enjoy great popularity due to its faithful community. Shadowlands would not only introduce significant changes to the game for PC users, but could also move closer to the console realm.

As several dataminers have highlighted in the alpha version of Shadowlands, it makes mention of the new PlayStation 5 controller and also PlayStation 4. Martin Benjamin is the discoverer of the mysterious lines of code of World of Warcraft. The man said that the production will soon support the controllers, which has already been confirmed by Randy Jordan, a person from Blizzard.

However, this is not the most interesting information, as Benjamin dug into the file “WTF\DefaultGamePadBindings.wtf”, which contains information about PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro and PlayStation 5.

It is incredibly possible that Blizzard will soon try to transfer WOW to the current and next-generation consoles of Sony. This production has a huge crowd of fans who would definitely throw on refreshed World of Warcraft. It wouldn’t be surprising if Blizzard tried to adapt World of Warcraft in some way on other platforms.
