AMD has officially launched the Ryzen 5 7600X3D, a Microcenter-exclusive 3D V-Cache CPU priced at $299. This release marks AMD’s latest addition to its growing lineup of cache-enhanced processors, aimed at budget-conscious gamers and PC enthusiasts.

Microcenter Expands Exclusive AMD 3D V-Cache Lineup with Ryzen 5 7600X3D

Following the success of last year’s Ryzen 5 5600X3D, AMD continues its partnership with Microcenter, introducing the Ryzen 5 7600X3D—a 6-core, 12-thread processor built on AMD’s Zen 4 architecture and boosted by 3D V-Cache technology. This new chip brings a substantial 96 MB of total L3 cache, combining 32 MB of standard L3 and an additional 64 MB of stacked 3D V-Cache, enhancing gaming performance and compute-intensive tasks.

The Ryzen 5 7600X3D operates at a base frequency of 4.1 GHz, with the capability to boost up to 4.7 GHz, delivering an impressive balance of speed and efficiency. It features a 65W TDP, making it a suitable choice for a wide range of AM5 motherboards, including entry-level A620 designs. The processor supports Precision Boost Overdrive (PBO), Curve Optimizer (CO), up to 24 PCIe Gen 5.0 lanes, and DDR5-5200 memory at native specifications, further enhancing system performance.

Exclusive Bundles Offer Additional Savings for PC Builders

Microcenter has also rolled out exclusive bundle deals featuring the Ryzen 5 7600X3D. One notable offer includes the CPU paired with an ASUS TUF Gaming B650-PLUS WiFi motherboard and 32 GB of DDR5-6000 memory, priced at $449.99. This bundle showcases savings of $182, making it an attractive option for gamers looking to upgrade without breaking the bank.

Microcenter’s Chief Merchandising Officer, Warren Beneson, commented on the collaboration, saying, “We are thrilled to expand our exclusive partnership with AMD and offer our customers access to high-performance 3D V-Cache processors like the Ryzen 5 7600X3D. This launch underscores our commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology at competitive prices.”

Looking Ahead: More 3D V-Cache Options from AMD

In addition to the Ryzen 5 7600X3D, AMD plans to introduce the Ryzen 5 5500X3D in the near future. This new chip will provide an entry-level 6-core 3D V-Cache option based on the Zen 3 architecture, compatible with AM4 motherboards, further expanding AMD’s lineup of high-performance processors at accessible price points.

With the Ryzen 5 7600X3D, AMD continues to push the boundaries of performance and value, solidifying its position in the competitive gaming CPU market.
