Asus has announced the new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 series graphics cards. During CES 2022 event Nvidia announced the new RTX 3050 series graphics cards that come with 8GB VRAM priced at just $249. The is expected to be available through various OMEs starting January 27. Coming back to the ASUS GeForce RTX 3050 series graphics cards, Asus has launched three new models with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 GPU with single, dual, and triple fan designs. The three new Asus GeForce RTX 3050 powered graphics cards are Asus ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3050 8GB, ASUS Dual, and ASUS Phoenix GeForce RTX 3050.
GeForce RTX 3050 is the first 50-class desktop GPU to power the latest ray-traced games at over 60 FPS. The RTX 3050 comes equipped with 2nd generation RT cores for ray tracing and 3rd generation Tensor cores for DLSS and AI.
ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3050 8GB and ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3050 OC Edition 8GB Specs and Features
The ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3050 8GB and ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3050 OC Edition 8GB deliver potent gaming performance, cool temperatures, and whisper-quiet noise levels. Both the cards also feature RGB LED ROG logo on the backplate and a full-length light strip lets you coordinate the look of your build through Aura Sync.
There is a 2.7-slot heatsink to keep the heat away from the GPU. Both the cards come with 8GB GDDR6 memory.
ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3050 8GB Features:
- NVIDIA Ampere Streaming Multiprocessors: The all-new Ampere SM brings 2X the FP32 throughput and improved power efficiency.
- 2nd Generation RT Cores: Experience 2X the throughput of 1st gen RT Cores, plus concurrent RT and shading for a whole new level of ray-tracing performance.
- 3rd Generation Tensor Cores: Get up to 2X the throughput with structural sparsity and advanced AI algorithms such as DLSS. These cores deliver a massive boost in game performance and all-new AI capabilities.
- Axial-tech fan design has been newly tuned with a reversed central fan direction for less turbulence.
- 2.7-slot design expands cooling surface area to make the most of the three powerful Axial-tech fans.
- Super Alloy Power II includes premium alloy chokes, solid polymer capacitors, and an array of high-current power stages.
- GPU Tweak II provides intuitive performance tweaking, thermal controls, and system monitoring.
ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 3050 8GB and ASUS Phoenix GeForce RTX 3050 8GB Specs and Features
