It’ll also have 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 512GB SSD and the company’s Armory Crate software tweaks.
The biggest draw of the device is that it comes with Windows 11, which allows gamers to access all their publisher libraries and game streaming services, all on a single platform. Asus says that “Every Game, Every Platform, All At Once” is its motto.

Asus’ Ally is expected to be a powerful competitor to the Steam Deck. According to tech YouTubers Dave2D and Linus Tech Tips, the device can double the performance of the Steam Deck.
Its AMD APU will be more powerful than the one in the Steam Deck, and it’s been shown to have better heat distribution, quieter fans, and a 120Hz refresh rate that helps games run buttery smooth. In previews with these YouTubers, it could play Ghostrunner and Forza Horizon 5 flawlessly.
It will come in two flavors, with a 512GB version at an expected price of $649 and a 1TB model at $899. It will also be available in black or white and you can pre-order it from the Asus website.
