With a number of big titles releasing in June, Capcom has made sure to tease fans ahead of Street Fighter 6’s launch with a new open beta. The beta will take place from May 19 through 21 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Players can register for the beta now by registering a Capcom ID and linking their platform of choice.
Here are the Street Fighter 6 Open Beta Dates:
- May 19, 2023 00:00 PDT – May 21, 2023 24:00 PDT

The beta features the same content as the second closed test, meaning that users will have access to eight different characters from the roster of the full release. This includes fan favorites Ryu, Chun-Li, and Ken, along with box-art star Luke. Additionally, the beta will allow users to create their own avatars, play Ranked, Casual, and Battle Hub Matches, and more.
Additionally, PlayStation users can pre-download the beta now from the PlayStation Store, though Capcom warns that it could undergo maintenance at times.
Street Fighter 6 Release Date
The full release of Street Fighter 6 will arrive on June 2, and users can purchase it for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (via Steam).
Capcom will have more details to share about the gameplay of the title in the coming weeks. While it will include the classic fighting game experience that fans know and love, it will also have two foundational pillars: World Tour and Battle Hub. The former will allow users to leave a legacy with their player avatar, while the latter was showcased in the Announce Trailer and is set to offer players new and unique ways to interact.
