Fighting game fans are in for a bloody treat this year as NetherRealm Studios is set to reboot the iconic series with a major overhaul. The upcoming release, titled Mortal Kombat 1, will press restart on the 30-year-old franchise with a fresh new look and a story mode that will shake things up. When is the Mortal Kombat 1 Preorder and Release Date?
Mortal Kombat 1 will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch consoles as well as PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store) when it launches on September 19, 2023.
According to the company, a variety of different editions will be available for fans to preorder starting May 19th. Regardless of the version selected, pre-orders will provide a bonus Shang Tsung playable character and beta access launching in August.

Also, Mortal Kombat 1 Premium Edition and Collector’s Edition pre-orders also include 1-week early access to the game, and 1-week early access to the DLC characters.
