EA and Omega Force have announced a new game in Japan called Wild Hearts, which will be an action-focused hunting game set in a fantasy feudal Japan. The game will feature Kemono monsters and ancient technology that allows hunters to deploy superior weaponry, or ‘Karakuri’.
Wild Hearts is one of the company’s latest “EA Originals” games, and it will release on February 17, 2023. The game is still unknown which platforms will receive it, but it will be exclusive to next-gen consoles and PC. The game will also support cross-platform play.
The game will be released on February 17th, 2023 on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The game will have an extended gameplay demo on October 5th, which will be a pre-release for Wild Hearts. EA is positioning Wild Hearts as the AAA hunting experience of a new generation.
Monster Hunter World is still the best-selling Capcom game in history, selling 18 million copies. Its competition is largely nonexistent – even Resident Evil 7 has sold over 11 million units. EA is taking no chances with this new title, and it looks like it’ll be a hit.
