NVIDIA has officially rolled out version 11.0.2.337 of its NVIDIA App, bringing exciting new AI-powered features, improvements to video quality, and various bug fixes. Here’s a look at what’s new in this release:
DLSS Multi Frame Generation, Transformer Models, and More
Gamers can now update their Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) titles with the latest AI models at the click of a button. Those with a GeForce RTX 50 Series GPU can enable DLSS Multi Frame Generation in compatible DLSS Frame Generation titles, while all RTX Series GPUs can take advantage of the new Transformer model, Deep Learning Anti-Aliasing (DLAA), and Ultra Performance modes in supported DLSS Super Resolution or Ray Reconstruction games. Users can access these features under Graphics > Program Settings > Driver Settings > DLSS Override.
NVIDIA Broadcast Enhancements
The NVIDIA Broadcast app gets a major upgrade with two new AI-powered effects:
- Studio Voice – Enhances microphone quality for professional-grade audio.
- Virtual Keylight – Automatically relights a user’s face, ensuring even lighting during live streams.
Additionally, improved Eye Contact and Background Noise Removal features offer enhanced quality, and a redesigned interface lets users combine more effects seamlessly. The update is available for download via the Discover section on the Home tab.
Introducing NVIDIA Smooth Motion
NVIDIA Smooth Motion, a newly introduced AI model, creates an additional interpolated frame between two rendered frames to provide a smoother gameplay experience. This feature is compatible with DirectX 11 and DirectX 12 titles on GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs and can be enabled via Graphics > Program Settings > Driver Settings.
RTX Video Enhancements
The latest RTX Video Super Resolution update now improves HDR content while reducing GPU usage by 30%. The NVIDIA App also includes a GPU utilization prioritization feature, ensuring that video quality is lowered when GPU-intensive applications, such as games, are running concurrently. Furthermore, a new on-screen indicator now displays when RTX Video is active and which video is being enhanced by AI. These options are available under System > Video > Super Resolution.
New Display Control Features
Advanced Optimus Modes and Manage Displays are now accessible via System > Display, providing users with greater control over their display settings.
Shadowplay Bitrate Optimization
Shadowplay now sets default bitrate settings based on resolution, frame rate, and codec. Users can manually configure these settings from the in-game overlay under Settings > Video Capture.
Expanded Optimal Settings Support
NVIDIA has added Optimal Settings support for seven newly released games:
- Delta Force (GLOBAL)
- Farming Simulator 25
- Indiana Jones And The Great Circle
- Marvel Rivals
- Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
- Path of Exile 2
- S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl
