Nvidia Preparing To Launch GeForce RTX 3070 Ti

Allegedly, Nvidia will also introduce another graphics card from the RTX 3000 series with the launch of GeForce RTX 3070 Ti.

As a direct competitor to the Radeon RX 6800, Nvidia plans to introduce the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, which should position itself in terms of performance between the GeForce RTX 3070 and RTX 3080.

The difference in performance and price between the GeForce RTX 3070 and RTX 3080 already indicated a possible GeForce RTX 3070 Ti when the graphics cards were released. With the new competition in the form of the AMD Radeon RX 6800, Nvidia should now plan the release and presentation of this new video card in the next few weeks.

According to the well-known leaker @kopite7kimi, the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics card would be based on a GA103-300-A1 chip with 7424 FP32, and a 320-bit memory connection from an as yet unknown GDDR6X memory is expected.

However, a graphics memory configuration with 10GB of VRAM would be possible. The GA103 chip is to be based on the 8nm process and manufactured by Samsung. As per the price of the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, it cannot be answered with certainty, but we can expect a minimum of $499.

The latest graphics cards of the RTX 3000 series are currently difficult to get, which is why interested parties often have to pay more than the recommended retail price. In recent news, a listing by Lenovo for its Gaming Desktop PC confirmed the existence of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 16 GB graphics card.
